What it doesn't do is work with the Qnap apps Qairplay and Qmusic direct.

No joy from DLink since, like I said, the DCH-M225 works fine with all my devices (Win7, OS X, iOS, Android) as an iTunes & iPhone Airplay device and Win7 and Android as a DLNA client. Can't say I blame DLink for passing the wrote:Ya, no. Definitely a step forward and proves the DCH-M225 does work, just not for Qnap apps. Of course the web page on the iPhone5 is a little hard to use (can't seem to use the volume control widget). I've tried this from Win7 and iPhone/Safari. One piece of progress, I found and installed the Twonky Server Ver 8.0.5 Qpkg and now I can use it's web interface to select the DCH-M225 as a Media Receiver and "beam"/queue up items without having to keep the "remote controlling" device running. I did run across one of your posts to of course use Qmusic for this.
This seems like a no-brainer and all my searching hasn't led to anything useful. I can stream to the iPhone5 (iOS and then select the DCH-M225 as the Airplay device but that requires running through the iPhone.
